Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
  • Pack and plate dishes according to company standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure kitchen sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and setup.
  • Support chefs and other kitchen staff as needed to ensure timely food preparation.
  • Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • SPM / High School Certificate or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Team player with good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
