About the role

Nine Five Resources Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Project Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing cost estimates, cash flow projections, and budgets for construction projects
  • Conducting site measurements and quantity takeoffs to support project costing and planning
  • Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts to ensure best value
  • Monitoring project costs and expenditures to identify and address variances
  • Providing regular progress reports to project managers and clients
  • Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and contract documentation
  • Collaborating with the project team to resolve technical and commercial issues

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in quantity surveying or project engineering in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, cost management, and project controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards
