Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, IT Solutions provides business, process, and technical expertise to teams responsible for assessing, designing, delivering, and supporting IT solutions for clients and customers. This role ensures quality inputs and deliverables from internal, external, and client-side team members, while managing relationships, resolving conflicts, and aligning solutions with the semiconductor device manufacturing client's strategic goals. The specialist should also be able to establish goals and strategies within their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP functional support for SAP Logistics modules and guide/coach junior team members. Familiarity with other SAP modules is an added advantage.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with organizational and client standards.
  • Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP best practices, business processes, and data models.
  • Design and develop test plans for unit, integration, system, data conversion, and UAT testing.
  • Coordinate support tasks across teams and manage tight deadlines effectively.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Collaborate with external or in-house developers and site support teams for system changes and maintenance.
  • Ensure project and support service-level targets are achieved.
  • Perform production support (break/fix, troubleshooting, how-to assistance).
  • Plan and manage tasks and smaller projects effectively.
  • Apply strong project management skills for solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP functional support roles.
  • Expertise in functional business processes is an added advantage.
  • Experience with system integration using EDI / ALE / IDoc / Ariba.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM12, RM14,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • SAP logistic modules: 2 years (Preferred)
  • SAP functional support : 3 years (Required)
  • system integration via EDI/ALE/IDOC/Ariba: 2 years (Preferred)
