We are looking for a committed colleague to take the key role in our Elkem Malaysia (EM) team for our new production area. As an Operator, your main responsible is to work safely carry out production process daily activities and able to perform mechanical & electrical basic troubleshooting.

Your main responsibility will be;

  • Perform loading & unloading material (on pallet) by using forklift
  • Following proper procedure to operate the production machine and equipment with safe manner.
  • Maintaining and keep the machine and equipment in good condition at all time
  • Controlling and manage the production process line
  • Solving production issue during operation with proper method and follow SOP.
  • Performing basic maintenance or troubleshooting production line issue

Qualification required:

  • MUST have experience handling forklift more than 3 years
  • Preferably 2-3 years' experience as production or maintenance operator in manufacturing plant
  • Fluent in English and Malay language (Fluent in Mandarin is an advantages)
  • Prefer local Bintulu candidate
  • able to drive to works (Bintulu-Samalaju) daily

To be succeed in the position, you must have good self-awareness in safety, able to communicate and works well in team, willing to learn new knowledges, able to accept instruction from superior and carry out the task on time.

This position report directly to Project Manager, located at Elkem Malaysia Sdn Bhd plant at Samalaju Industrial area Bintulu, Sarawak.
