Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and objectives.
  • Teach students various art techniques (drawing, painting, crafts, digital art, etc.) according to their age and learning levels.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression while guiding students to improve their artistic skills.
  • Organize classroom displays and exhibitions of student artwork.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring classroom environment with appropriate art materials.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support cross-curricular projects and school events.
  • Stay updated on contemporary art practices and integrate them into lesson planning.
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field (Teaching certification is an advantage).
  • Prior experience as an art teacher or relevant teaching/tutoring experience preferred.
  • Strong portfolio of personal artwork and knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for art and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,600.00 per month
