Responsibilities

  • Conduct art classes and creative workshops for children with special needs in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Design and adapt art activities to suit individual abilities, interests, and therapeutic goals.
  • Use art to encourage self-expression, sensory engagement, fine motor development, and emotional well-being.
  • Guide and nurture children's artistic potential, helping them develop skills that can lead to independent creative work.
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and caregivers to integrate art into holistic rehabilitation programs.
  • Prepare and maintain art materials, tools, and a welcoming studio space.
  • Track children's participation and progress during sessions.
  • Uphold WQ Park's mission of promoting healing, inclusion, and empowerment through creativity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree of Arts or any equivalent
  • Teaching experience in art education or with children with special needs is highly preferred.
  • Patience and empathy
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and other professionals

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 45 per week
