Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with a background in tourism or hospitality to support our sales strategies and help grow business partnerships. You will assist in managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and expanding market reach.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, schools, and corporate clients.

  • Handle group bookings, travel trade sales, and tourism-related packages.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new opportunities.

  • Participate in trade shows, roadshows, and tourism networking events.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.

  • Work closely with various teams to ensure smooth delivery of services. - Maintain an updated database of leads and clients using CRM tools.

  • Provide regular sales reports and feedback to the management team.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.

–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or theme park industry.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Good network within the tourism and travel industry is an added advantage.

Able to work independently, with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.

Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends (as needed).

Able to work and blend in a fast paced and changing market environment

Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently

Ability to work under stress and resolve conflicts

Language required(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin. Additional language is an advantage
