Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Early Intervention Programme (EIP) Teacher at our center in Petaling Jaya. The EIP Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized lesson plans, fostering holistic activities to encourage growth in children, and providing consistent guidance and support in skill-building. The teacher will also assess children's progress, communicate with parents and guardians regularly, and work collaboratively with other staff to create a supportive learning environment. Supporting children in developing motor, communication, and academic skills as preparation for mainstream education is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and the ability to create tailored and effective educational plans.
- Strong background in Education and Teaching, with a passion for working with children with special needs.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Experience in Training and classroom facilitation to foster and support children's learning and development.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual needs of children within the program.
- Relevant work experience in Early Intervention Programs or similar roles is an advantage.
- A degree or certification in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.
