A reputable IT services firm based in Kuala Lumpur, established in 2012, providing consulting, software development, and systems integration. It specializes in custom web and mobile applications, API development, data analytics, and workflow automation for industries like healthcare, telecom, and utilities. The company promotes a culture of openness, trust, and innovation.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer (.NET) to join their development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using technologies such as .NET Core, C#, MVC, VB.NET, and ReactJS. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for building high performance, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with high performance and responsiveness
  • Translate user stories and business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Build efficient, reusable, and reliable code using best practices
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs following Microservices architecture
  • Optimize and implement stored procedures and database functions using T-SQL
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions
  • Ensure adherence to code quality, security, and versioning standards
  • Participate in Agile development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of code and system architecture

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, T-SQL, and MVC frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Entity Framework and .NET Framework (4.6+)
  • Front-end experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and scalable design
  • Experience with Agile, Git, and version control tools (GitHub/Azure DevOps)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently

Qualification:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience
