About the role

As a Senior Audit Associate at CHW & CO', you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality financial auditing services to our diverse range of clients. This full-time position is based in the vibrant city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, offering opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  2. Identifying and addressing potential risks and internal control weaknesses
  3. Preparing detailed audit reports and recommendations for clients
  4. Supervising and mentoring junior audit team members
  5. Continuously updating your knowledge of industry regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. 2+ years of experience in external auditing or a related field
  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit methodologies
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Proficiency in using audit software (aBot) and data analysis tools (excel, words)
  7. A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CA)
