Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of ISO-certified Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
- Conduct internal quality audits and manage corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry best practices.
- Develop and enforce HSE policies, risk assessments, and job safety analysis (JSA).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and awareness programs.
- Implement security measures to protect personnel, assets, and operations.
- Conduct periodic security risk assessments and emergency drills.
- Manage environmental compliance in line with ISO 14001 and local environmental laws.
- Promote sustainability initiatives, waste minimization, and pollution control.
- Monitor and report environmental performance indicators.
- Lead and mentor the QHSSE team across projects.
- Act as the main liaison with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and clients.
- Develop QHSSE strategies, KPIs, and annual objectives.
- Prepare and present QHSSE reports to senior management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years' QHSSE experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and Malaysian HSE regulations.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Lead Auditor preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Based in Kuala Lumpur with occasional travel to project sites.
- Strong leadership in safety and compliance.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to develop practical solutions and drive improvements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM9, RM10,000.00 per month
