  • To establish Company's Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Policy, Guidelines and Manuals and to implement them effectively at the construction sites in accordance with the requirements as contained therein
  • To continuously educate, train, demonstrate, guide, assess and update all site personnel such as Project Manager, Site Engineers, Site Supervisors and Workers on all aspects of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental issues at the sites
  • To regularly inspect, investigate, survey, monitor, measure and review the effectiveness of the implementation and compliance of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Policy, Guidelines and Manuals and to submit written monthly or periodic reports on the findings, solutions and areas of concern for improvement to the Project Manager or the Project General Manager or the Chief Executive Officer
  • To set up the safety committee and conduct regular meeting, training, educations, familiarization of Health and Safety matters such as toolbox meetings safety induction at site including maintaining a diary and making proper detail written records of all events for reference and follow up implementation actions
  • To attend to all matter relating to Safety and Health at all times including during emergency events such as accidents/untoward incidents including attending to the relevant authorities to resolve all issues Safety and Health
  • To setup an accident rescue and investigation team and to establish accident investigation criteria together with up to date statistics for each project site
  • To draw up the budget for the implementation of Safety and Health procedure for each project site and thereafter providing feedbacks on the expenditure vis a vis the budget
  • To assist and liaise with the Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Relevant Enforcement Authorities, Contractor's Safety Personnel and other relevant parties to ensure that the statutory requirements of the Safety and Health matters are implemented effectively

Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in OSH or any related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction or engineering works
  • Valid Green Book/OYK (Compulsory)
  • Well-versed in QHSE management systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
