Job Purpose:
- This role is to partner with business leaders to strategize and execute people-centric initiatives and interventions.
- This role oversees the HR Business Partnering function and Talent Acquisition strategies to foster a high-performance culture and drive organizational growth.
Main Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the People Strategist team in partnering with business leaders to drive people strategy and programme in line with people policies and business plans.
- Provide strategic business partnership in facilitating organizational structure, manpower planning, budget planning for business growth.
- To provide guidance to business leaders to manage industrial relations and disciplinary-related matters.
- To provide support to business leaders on any other people related matters in accordance with HR guiding principles while maintaining compliance.
- Talent Acquisition – provide partnership to hiring managers on building hiring requirements, understanding business needs and curating effective messaging to attract qualified candidates. You will advise not only on talent strategies but also on process and go-to-market.
- Provide management reporting and recommendation on talent acquisition performance.
- Coach managers & employees and enable effective coaching and performance discussions to drive towards a high-performance culture.
- Resolve employee performance/ disciplinary issues and address grievances.
- Execute annual review and mid-year review exercise to ensure timeline is kept within the requirements.
- Assist employees in overall performance management process during the annual review and day-to-day performance management guidance to people manager.
- Monitor headcounts and personnel cost of BU Division and manage it within the budget.
- Identify and develop high-potential talent for leadership and critical roles.
- Collaborate with leadership & Talent Management team to ensure talent development and succession are in place.
- Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Partner with the Talent, Learning & Development team to execute on talent management strategies to support a team's growth and individual development plans.
- Partner with Personal Development and Performance Review (PDPR) team to ensure regular reviews of job mapping and competitive compensation package.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant HR certifications are a plus.
- Passionate HR professional and a leader with at least 10 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in HR metrics and analytics.
- Experience in building capability and managing a dynamic and high-performance team.
- Experience in influencing and partner with stakeholders to achieve business results.
- Experience in driving process-improvement, simplification initiatives and upscaling of technology and tools with measurable outcomes.
