ROLE PURPOSE

Assist in ensuring ccompetitive rewards strategy, initiative and infrastructure to support the Bank's value propositions to attract, motivate and retain talent in accordance with the established policies and guidelines and in alignment to the Bank's strategic outcomes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing the Bank's rewards strategy and proposition in alignment to the Bank's reward philosophy to attract, motivate and retain talent:
  2. Conduct compensation research and market analysis as well as benchmark with the relevant industries/ specialists/job families to ensure competitiveness, relevance and uniqueness of the Bank's rewards proposition
  3. Conduct thorough analysis and provide findings based on internal/external information and data
  4. Prepare draft recommendations on competitive rewards strategy, proposition, policy/guideline and implementation for Management consideration.
  5. Assist in the processing of the Bank's various rewards policies and initiatives including but not limited to bonus, annual increment, short-term and long-term incentives, salary reviews and adjustments and cash-related benefits.
  6. Constantly keep abreast of the latest development and trends of rewards to ensure the Bank's rewards strategy and initiatives are relevant to the Bank's requirement and competitive against the market:
  7. Analyse remuneration and benefits report/ survey from external consultants and other relevant and published documents
  8. Establish and continuously conduct networking with internal and external stakeholders to continuously gain insight into the current trends and emerging issues pertaining to rewards management practices in the market
  9. Collaborate with People Business Partners, other HR process owners and relevant parties in developing and operationalizing reward management policies and initiatives including providing relevant materials/guidelines to ensure consistent understanding for communication and implementation purposes.
  10. Effectively communicate and provide advice to staff and line departments on the Bank's reward related policies/ guidelines and the Bank's Terms and Conditions of Service.
  11. Support and participate actively in department's initiatives and strategic projects including business plan, performance management, risk management, infrastructure management, operating plan, change management, working climate and cross functional review project

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic Qualifications: Minimum bachelor's degree in any related courses, preferably in human resource management or data analytics.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in similar role (HR experience or internal / external consulting experience preferred)
