Senior Quality Control Inspector

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform inspection of materials, machined parts, and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Conduct precise measurements using inspection and testing equipment such as CMM, Contracer, and Spring Tester, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
- Support process troubleshooting and root cause analysis for non-conformances in collaboration with Quality and Process Engineers.
- Ensure timely review and disposition of non-conforming parts in MRB (Q-hold) areas to maintain smooth production flow.
- Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly handled and in good condition.
- Participate in supplier inspections, including first article, in-process, and final product verification.
- Prepare or update work instructions and one-point lessons to enhance consistency and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities in quality, safety, and cost management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum SPM or Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in operating precision measuring instruments; experience with CMM or equivalent tools preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machining and casting processes.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites and to work shifts or overtime when required.
- Adaptability to a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience conducting supplier audits or quality inspections at vendor premises.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
