We are in the lookout for dynamic individuals to join our
team as
Technology Risk Specialist.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in the areas as follows:

  • Conduct Technology Risk Assessments by establishing focus areas and methodology, liaising with Business Units for information and preparing reports on findings.
  • Support Third-Party Risk Assessments by assisting with Third-Party Onboarding and Annual Evaluation processes, completing risk assessments with Business Units, and reviewing technology-related contracts with third parties.
  • Facilitate operational resilience efforts by leading the annual Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment, ensuring critical functions are identified and assessing potential risks.
  • Conduct testing activities for Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), ensuring successful testing and response strategies for disruptions.
  • Select appropriate training modules and prepare supplementary materials and decks to roll out IT and cybersecurity training and phishing campaigns.
  • Report to the Risk Management Committee on the outcomes of Technology Risk Assessments, Third-Party Risk Assessments, and operational resilience efforts, providing insights on identified risks and mitigation efforts.
  • Support other Operational Risk Management activities, including Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting, incident reporting, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
  • Follow up on action plans related to Third-Party Risk Assessments, training programs, and operational resilience to ensure timely completion and closure of all action items.

Your application will stand out if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree specializing in Technology Risk Management or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Technology Risk Management, IT Security, or IT Governance.
  • Good knowledge in the laws and regulations governing the insurance industry or other related financial services in Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Capability of handling sensitive information while working collaboratively or independently.
