Reporting to the General Counsel.

Responsible for
Public Affairs
across Malaysia and Singapore, serving as the primary policy liaison, mitigating risks, and cultivating relationships with government, NGOs, and trade associations. This includes representing the organisation publicly, advocating positions, providing strategic counsel to the leadership, ensuring global compliance, and leading all regulatory affairs discussions in Malaysia and Singapore.

The role also manages
Sustainability
in the Malaysia and Singapore market, developing and implementing local strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, directing social/environmental projects, and serving as the main point of contact for local sustainability and public-private partnerships.

skills and experience required

  • 10+ years experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability
  • Established network and proven experience engaging government bodies across Malaysia, Singapore, and SEA, with expertise in policy advocacy.
  • Proven track record in leading high-impact projects, strategic thinking, and strong leadership, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Essential experience in stakeholder engagement (NGOs, government, regulatory bodies) and strong understanding of community development and environmental sustainability.
