Responsibilities:

  • Support in monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory issues and trends within the country.
  • Assist in the development and execution of advocacy campaigns aimed at influencing public policy and regulations.
  • Contribute to policy, regulatory, and crisis management activities under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help facilitate collaboration with government agencies, industry associations, and stakeholders to support policy decisions.
  • Assist in managing national tender contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Support in building and maintaining relationships with federal, state, and local councils, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in ensuring the successful implementation of projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Learn and apply regulatory compliance and government procurement processes.
  • Develop project management skills through active participation in initiatives and day-to-day activities.
  • Represent the company externally at relevant meetings and events, as guided by senior management.
  • Engage in continuous learning and gain exposure to strategic aspects of public affairs, tendering, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, International Relations, Public Policy, Political Science, Marketing Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduate or with up to 2 years of experience in government contract management, tendering, public policy advocacy, or government affairs.
  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or automotive industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Strong networking, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
