We are looking for a motivated and responsible intern to join our Quality Department as a Chemical Laboratory Intern. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and laboratory operations within a world class food manufacturing environment.

How you will contribute

  • Execute laboratory testing : Support daily laboratory testing activities such as particle size distribution, moisture, fat, viscosity and other analytical tests.
  • Support laboratory operations as per assigned schedule.
  • Manage laboratory to ensure 5S in practice in place.
  • Manage the inventory of the consumables in laboratory.
  • Manage records and samples keeping properly to ensure easy retrievable when required.
  • Conducts internal audit and participates in external audits (when required).
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Quality or Laboratory Lead.

Requirements:

  • Studying Degree in Food Science/Microbiologist/related field is required.
  • Knowledge on GMP & HACCP, ISO22000 or FSSC 22000 will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in microbiology laboratory testing is preferred.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skill and able to work in a team.
  • Precise and efficient.
