Job Summary :

The Senior/Lead Finance will support the Finance department in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing financial insights to assist management decision-making. This role involves overseeing accounts payable, journal postings, month-end closing, contractor payments, cost center management, and preparation of management reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities :

Journal Posting & General Ledger Management

o  Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

o  Ensure reconciliations of accounts are performed monthly and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

o  Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is complete and accurate.

o  Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for management and audit purposes.

Accounts Payable Management

o  Oversee and process accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to vendors and contractors.

o  Ensure proper approval and documentation for all payment requests.

o  Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment-related queries.

Contractor Payments

o  Manage monthly contractor payments, ensuring adherence to contracts and agreements.

o  Maintain accurate records of all contractor invoices and payments.

Cost Centre Management & Reporting

o  Compile and monitor cost center data, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses.

o  Analyze variances and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Management Reporting & Deck Preparation

o  Prepare monthly management reports, including financial performance, cost analysis, and key metrics.

o  Develop presentation decks for management meetings with clear financial insights and recommendations.

Other Responsibilities

o  Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

o Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

o Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls.

o Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

o Perform ad hoc tasks and financial analyses as guided by the Finance Manager and Finance Director.

Qualifications & Experience

·
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.

· –5 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, preferably with exposure to Accounts Payable, month-end closing and reporting.

·       Audit background will be an advantage.

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

·       Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Skills

·      Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel which includes advance features such as power query, automate, formulas that can enhance the preparation of analytics reports.

·      Good communication and able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

·      Capable to operate accounting system, ie SQL, Zoho, PowerPoint and deck presentation.
