About the role:

As a Software QA Tester, you'll be the gatekeeper of quality—testing our applications through both manual and automated methods to uncover issues before release. You'll work hand-in-hand with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure every product delivers a flawless user experience. Precision, problem-solving, and collaboration are at the heart of this role.

Job Scope:

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with business stakeholders to validate product requirements.
  • Perform manual testing for both web and mobile platforms (Android & iOS).
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke, integration, and system testing.
  • Document test cases, test plans, and detailed test reports.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs and issues to resolution using tools like JIRA.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX/UI designers in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Execute and monitor test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Test APIs using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
  • Ensure application performance, usability, and responsiveness meet expected standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manual testing and strong understanding of testing techniques.
  • Proven skills in automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems and mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
  • Hands-on experience with UAT processes and working directly with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
