Job Description

We at Koperasi Guru-Guru Ugama Kelantan Berhad are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Sewing/Tailoring Intern to join us. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in garment construction, fabric handling, and tailoring techniques. Responsibilities:

• Assist in sewing, stitching, and assembling garments according to design specifications.
• Cut fabrics and prepare materials needed for daily production tasks.
• Learn and practice basic to intermediate tailoring and alteration techniques under supervision.
• Operate and maintain sewing machines safely and efficiently.
• Support garment finishing tasks such as ironing, labeling, and packing to ensure high-quality presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sewing area, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and deadlines.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure all garments meet company standards before delivery.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the team's supervisor.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Tailoring, Fashion Design, or any related field.
• Basic knowledge of sewing techniques and familiarity with sewing machines.
• Passionate about sewing, tailoring, or handmade craftsmanship.
• Creative, Detail-oriented, patient, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Able to work in independently and collaboratively in a team, with positive attitude, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
