Work Days: Monday - Friday; Saturday (Half Day)

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience as a technician / foreman in authorised car workshop dealership (at least 2-5 years and above)
• EV-specific training or certification is an added advantage (e.g., Tesla, Ford EV, GM EV, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of EV systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric drivetrains, and electronic control systems
• Passionate in automotive
• Able to comprehend English to undergo training & test
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures related to high-voltage systems
• Able to join as soon as possible (around 1 month's time)

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair electric vehicle systems, including battery packs, inverters, motors, and charging systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, brake servicing, and software updates.
• Inspect and test EV components using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software.
• Safely handle high-voltage components in accordance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and repair timelines.
• Stay current with EV technology advancements, training, and certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment and proper inventory of work tools
• Ensure that all work done is following SOP and training
• Complete all tasks in job sheet within the lead time
• Ensure that customer's vehicle is well taken care of
