Calibration Technician

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure accuracy & precision of tools in the plant. Responsible for both internal & external calibration of tools. Coordinate with production, engineers, and logistics departments to notify and coordinate calibration procedures timely.
  • Maintain a calibration database for all internal instruments, monitor due dates, perform calibrations, generate calibration paperwork (certificates and reports), and monitor turnaround lead time.
  • Coordinate with external calibration vendors for instruments that cannot be calibrated internally.
  • Evaluate calibration vendors based on qualification and expertise and monitor their performance.
  • Create and update calibration procedures and reports documenting calibration findings. Participate in internal and external audits. Create procedures for calibration and ensure safekeeping of all calibration documentation.

What You Bring

  • Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Mechatronic engineering. At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of calibration methods and procedures, measurement uncertainty and traceability, and calibration standards and instruments.
  • Experience with the SAP system is an added advantage
  • Capable on understanding technical and product specification and documentations
  • Experience in using manufacturing equipment and tools.
