Job Responsibilities:

  1. Build the content framework for the company's short-form video story-driven accounts, including character settings, main storylines, and serialized topic planning.

  2. Independently complete the ideation, scriptwriting, and storyboard design for viral story-based short videos, and lead or deeply participate in on-set direction during filming.

  3. Oversee the end-to-end quality of content from concept to final edit, ensuring it combines strong dramatic conflict with commerce-driven conversion and shareability.

  4. Conduct in-depth analysis of video metrics and user feedback to establish a data-driven content optimization loop, continuously improving content performance (views, engagement, conversion).

  5. Manage a small content production team, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure stable, high-quality content output.

Qualifications:

  1. 1–2+ years of relevant work experience; Chinese speakers are preferred, followed by fluency in English communication.

  2. Possess both strong "storytelling creativity" and "traffic mindset"—able to craft compelling narratives while understanding viral logic and user psychology on platforms like TikTok.

  3. Excellent sense of narrative pacing, proficient in techniques such as the "golden 3 seconds," plot twists, and suspense; solid copywriting skills. Experience as a director/writer in an MCN agency is a plus.

  4. Familiar with TikTok trends and platform rules, with a proven track record of creating hit content on TikTok.

  5. Data-sensitive, quick learner, resilient under pressure, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity content production environment.

  6. Experienced in the short video production process, capable of guiding filming and post-production, with strong on-site execution and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
