POSITION: FIELD TECHNICIAN – IT and Electrical

1 QUALIFICATIONS

1.1 Certificates and/or Diploma in IT Hardware, Software and Network; or

1.2 Certificates and/or Diploma in Electrical Works; or

1.3 Certificates and/or Diploma in Electronic Works

1.4 Minimum 3 years of field working experience.

1.5 Candidates with higher qualifications are encouraged to apply.

1.6 Fresh graduate candidates are welcome to apply.

1.7 Possess a good personality and strong teamwork skills.

2 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of electronics detection System.
  • Work locations will be Port Klang, Penang, and Johor Bahru.
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Able to travel is a must: a minimum of one 4-day trip per month is required.
  • Willingness to be posted in Johor Bahru is an added advantage.
  • Expect to work outside of normal working hours, including night shifts, Sundays and Public Holidays.
  • Emergency response time to breakdowns is 4 hours from the end-user's call.
  • Prepare daily reports on PM, CM, attendance, spare parts, diagnoses, etc.
  • Follow instructions from Superiors and Management.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance teams within the Company as well as with clients
  • Strictly adhere to safe working practices

3 SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Positive working attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experienced in maintaining Electrical/Electronics/IT Equipment
  • Advanced level in operating computer is a fundamental requirement.
  • Capable of following strict regulations in performing work task.
