Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily international and domestic shipments, including transport arrangements.
  • Prepare and process customs documentation (e.g., K1, K2, K3, K8, K9).
  • Handle shipping documents like Certificates of Origin, exemptions, and permits.
  • Liaise with government bodies such as MAQIS, LKIM, MTIB, MIDA, MITI, CIDB, SIRIM for regulatory approvals.
  • Submit import/export declarations and assist in resolving customs queries.
  • Verify and check disbursement invoices from service providers.
  • Support customers with timely updates and handle inquiries or issues professionally.
  • Ensure billing, documentation, and filing are accurate.
  • Support clerical/administrative tasks and assist with ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma from a recognized institution
  • At least 2-3 year of experience in forwarding, customs brokerage, or logistics preferred
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • KEK (Kursus Ejen Kastam) certification is a plus

  • Customs processes and systems (e.g., HS codes, duties, SST, drawback claims)

  • Freight flows (air, sea, cross-border trucking)
  • Certificate of Origin and exemption applications
