Hi , we are urgent hiring for : Senior Account Executive (Construction)

Office Location : Bukit Rimau,Shah Alam

Job Scope:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare full set of accounts including journal entries, general ledger, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in compliance with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
  • Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and cash flow statements for management review.

2. Project Costing & Budget Control

  • Monitor project expenses and ensure proper cost allocation to respective construction projects.
  • Prepare project costing reports, budget variance analysis, and forecast updates.
  • Coordinate with project managers and quantity surveyors on cost tracking and progress claims.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Handle supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, and payment processing.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding collections.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely payments to vendors.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing tax computation, SST submission, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and HRDF contributions.

5. Internal Control & Audit Support

  • Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and internal control procedures.
  • Support both internal and external audits with required schedules and documentation.

6. Team & Process Management

  • Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance on daily accounting operations.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
