Job Description

Ganoderma Nursery Activities

  • Preparing high-quality planting media in polybags.

  • Systematically arranging and planting seedlings.

  • Maintaining trial plots in a neat and orderly condition.

  • Assisting in pruning activities to ensure plant health.

  • Accurately and consistently recording research data.

  • Carrying out nursery-related tasks as required by research.

Breeding Field Activities

  • Accurately recording all harvested fresh fruit bunches (FFB).

  • Conducting census and labeling bunches on oil palm trees.

  • Performing regular vegetative measurements.

  • Identifying and determining palm types.

  • Collecting and storing leaf samples properly.

  • Maintaining replanting plots for oil palm trials.

  • Fully complying with established SOPs.

  • Always wearing PPE during operations.

Bunch Analysis

  • Labeling selected palms for harvesting as instructed by the Breeder.

  • Harvesting bunches for analysis in line with SOPs.

  • Ensuring harvested fruits are complete and suitable for analysis.

  • Recording all activities, particularly those involving samples.

  • Delivering samples to the laboratory within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Strictly adhering to analysis SOPs.

  • Consistently using PPE during all tasks.
