Who are we looking for?

The
Business Lead
will act as the strategic and operational driver for our company's growth in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. This role combines leadership, business development, operations management.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats across sales, operations, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute strategies to
    expand business in new markets
    and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Identify and evaluate
    new business opportunities
    , partnerships, and channels.
  • Conduct
    market research and competitor analysis
    to guide strategic decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business partners.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Lead and manage the
    sales function
    to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Oversee the full
    sales cycle
    – from lead generation and client acquisition to closing and post-sales service.
  • Implement
    performance-driven sales processes
    and reporting systems to monitor and improve results.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and business forums to increase brand visibility.

3. Office & Operational Management

  • Oversee
    day-to-day office management
    , ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and operational resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Marketing, IT) to support smooth business functioning.
  • Maintain a professional and productive office environment aligned with company culture.

4. Recruitment, Training & Team Leadership

  • Lead the
    recruitment and onboarding
    of new team members across functions.
  • Provide
    training, coaching, and performance management
    to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented work culture.
  • Identify leadership potential within the team and develop internal talent pipelines.

5. Strategic Leadership & Reporting

  • Act as the
    primary representative of the company
    in the region, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Develop and present
    business performance reports
    and market insights to senior management.
  • Take ownership of local
    compliance, governance, and risk management
    processes.
  • Collaborate closely with headquarters to ensure consistent standards, policies, and brand representation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience
    in business leadership, operations, or sales management roles (experience in market expansion or country leadership is highly preferred).
  • Proven track record of
    driving business growth and leading teams
    in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of
    sales strategy, market dynamics, and operational excellence
    .
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation, and people management
    skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
