HR Associate

Salary: Up to MYR 4,500

Location: Johor, Johor

Requirements:

• Work Experience: 1 to 2 years of human resource management experience, with a background in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing plant.
• Professional Skills: Proficient in all HR functions (recruitment, training, compensation, employee relations) with a strong understanding of local labor laws.
• Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong organizational and planning abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Software Skills: Proficient in office software, especially Excel and HR-management systems.
• Personal Qualities: Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, high ethical standards, and a team player.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (BMI) for effective communication.
• Empathy and emotional Intelligence: Understanding and addressing employee concerns effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Assist in planning recruitment strategies, manage end-to-end recruitment process, and maintain candidate databases.
• Compensation and Payroll Management: Support payroll processing, review attendance and overtime, and ensure statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) are accurate and on time.
• Statutory Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and submit statutory contributions and maintain compliance with labor laws.
• Immigration and Work Visa Support: Handle work pass and permit applications for foreign employees.
• Employee Relations and Support: Assist in employee grievances and organize well-being initiatives.
• Performance Management and Training: Assist in performance appraisals and coordinate training programs.
• Administrative and Operational Support: Support HR projects, manage HR files, and prepare reports.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by management.
