Overall job objectives

Ensure target of production output set by the Management are met.

Ensuring smooth running of day-to-day operations of production in order to achieve all delivery by monitoring and troubleshoot production issue.

Coordinate with production planner and control of manufacturing processes to ensure the right quantity is produced at the right cost and level of quality.

Core responsibilities

  • Monitor production to ensure smooth production flow and update management for day-to-day production status.
  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure ultimate utilization, maximize productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Establish workflow policies

and implement standard operating procedures for production operations

to enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
to ensure that the production is cost effective.
- Ensure all production workers follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
- Determine and implement improvements to the production process
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate to all production staff through motivation, support and guidance.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
- Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
- Identify training needs.
- Manage production budgets
- Implement cost control programs
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including project, D&E, procurement and management
- Ensure all production documents include PMR, TRN, material consumption and defective forms are used and updated.
- Ensure the output of production by process and total finish good (FGN) are recorded.
- Support to ensure MES run smooth in production floor and provide useful data for management decision making.
- Prepare production monthly report and submit on time base on timeline set by management.
- Carry out other task as been assigned by the management from time to time.
