Maverick International Secondary School (MISS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher with a Chemistry background to join our Academic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct effective teaching and learning for Science (KS3), ensuring lessons are engaging, structured, and aligned with curriculum requirements.
  • Assess students' work, provide timely feedback, and record results accurately in the school system.
  • Undertake homeroom teacher responsibilities, including monitoring student well-being, attendance, and pastoral care.
  • Fulfil school duty rosters such as supervision during breaks, assemblies, and dismissal.
  • Plan, organise, and participate in school activities, events, and competitions as allocated.
  • Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and Heads of Department to develop strategies for student improvement and curriculum enhancement.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field

    (Master's Degree or PhD is an added advantage)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Passionate about student development and academic excellence
