Key Responsibilities

  • Work with coverage and product teams to develop pitches for marketing, structuring, pricing and securing mandates from the clients allocated to the team.
  • Support and maintain client relationships with the objective of securing business for CIMB Group.
  • Keep abreast with market landscape and key industries highlights including current corporate developments.
  • Execute projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in the process of underwriting arrangement, private placement implementation and book building implementation to ensure effective services are provided to clients.
  • Ensure timely authorization of relevant documents and correspondences and review applications to regulatory authorities to maintain the quality of submissions and liaise with officials of relevant regulatory authorities as and when the need arises.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, guidelines and updates, and market conventions issued from time to time.
  • Ensure compliance with CIMB Group's policies & procedures, Department's policies and procedures, client mandates, and external auditor's requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics or equivalent professional qualification).
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Has knowledge of local and/or regional ECM market landscape.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and customer portfolio growth.
  • Good presentation and influencing skills.
  • Able to collaborate with other teams in Malaysia and across the region.
