The opportunity

Peninsula Precision Stamping (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Safety & Health Officer to join our team in Gelang Patah, Johor. As a full-time position, this role is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and maintaining a safe work environment across our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

  1. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
  2. Implementing and overseeing safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  3. Investigating and documenting incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommending corrective actions
  4. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  5. Providing safety guidance and support to management and employees
  6. Maintaining accurate records and submitting required reports
  7. Collaborating with the HR team on employee wellness initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety & Health Officer or in a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  6. Proficiency in using safety-related software and technology
