JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and committed Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book (JKKP/DOSH) to join our team for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) substation projects. This is a full-time, site-based role where you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing workplace safety standards, ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and coordinate all safety-related aspects of TNB substation projects.
  • Organize and supervise site safety matters for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain all safety documentation, checklists, and statutory compliance at site.
  • Supervise project works to ensure full compliance with safety and health standards.
  • Conduct internal safety training and daily Toolbox Meetings (TBM).
  • Report directly to the Project Manager and Head of Safety Department.
  • Visit and monitor multiple project sites as required.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Green Book registration (SHO) with DOSH (JKKP).
  • First Aid Certificate & NIOSH Tenaga Safety Passport (NTSP).
  • Scaffold Competency (Basic level).
  • Minimum 2 years' working experience in a related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; additional safety training is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Contract or permanent position available.
  • Must have a clean safety record (no incidents/accidents in the past 2 years.
