Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical parts, assemblies, and plant systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
  • Prepare fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings for mechanical and piping systems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and company specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineers, procurement, and production teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and manufacturable.
  • Maintain proper document control and revision management of all drawings and related records.
  • Assist in design modifications and updating existing drawings based on site changes or feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and other technical documentation.
  • Support site inspections, measurements, and verification of drawings when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably in industrial, process plant, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD design tools.
  • Good understanding of mechanical fabrication, piping layouts, and plant design principles.
  • Familiarity with ASME / ISO drafting standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
