Job Description:

Responsibilities:

General

• Execute the delivery of Ariba system implementation activities for IT projects and other IT initiatives, working with an external implementation partner (Consultants), Guthrie stakeholders and the support services vendor (Shared Services).
• Support Project Lead and PMO in Ariba system planning, testing, deployment, implementation, and change management in Ariba Procure to Pay (P2P), Ariba Guided Buying and Ariba Spend Analysis
• Configure and implement Ariba P2P, Ariba Guided Buying and Ariba Spend Analysis modules.
• Work closely with Guthrie's Procurement team to plan, deploy and monitor S2P strategy, procedures, and standards to be successfully implemented via Ariba.
• Responsible to lead the data gathering & process designing /alignment across the global procurement fraternity.
• To support the implementation of Ariba in accordance with SLA and Target Operating Models
• Ensure end-user perspectives are incorporated into the design of the system and process changes.
• Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of system training programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Ariba and/or Ariba -SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Manage risk and issues, escalating them for decision-making at appropriate levels of authority, while ensuring minimal impact to project delivery timeline and costs.
• Ensure transition between phases of projects are executed seamlessly from business and vendor perspective, with minimal re-work needed between phases.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Guthrie policies, procedures and audits.
• Perform and report system change requests, updates and new releases functionalities to the design and configuration of the system.

SAP Ariba Module Expertise

Ariba P2P

• Configure Ariba P2P to support end-to-end procurement processes including requisitioning, ordering, receiving, and invoicing.
• Set up purchase requisition and order workflows, approval hierarchies, and exception handling.
• Enable catalog management, punch-out catalogs, and supplier integration
• Configure invoice reconciliation, matching rules, and exception handling processes.
• Integrate Ariba P2P with SAP S/4HANA for master data synchronization and transactional data flow

Ariba Guided Buying

• Configure Guided Buying home page, tiles, and forms tailored to business needs and spend categories.
• Set up intelligent item recommendations, preferred supplier routing, and policy-based buying paths.
• Enable self-service procurement for casual users with simplified search, cart, and checkout experiences.
• Integrate Guided Buying with Ariba P2P and SAP S/4HANA for real-time data flow.
• Customize filters, keyword search, and transactional visibility for user-friendly navigation.
• Ensure policy compliance by embedding rules and alerts directly into the buying interface

Ariba Spend Analysis

• Configure Ariba Spend Analysis dashboards, KPIs, and data models to visualize procurement performance.
• Integrate Ariba Spend Analysis with SAP S/4HANA to consolidate spend data across categories and suppliers.
• Set up data enrichment, classification, and cleansing rules for accurate reporting.
• Enable custom reports, trend analysis, and predictive insights using Ariba analytics tools.
• Support supplier segmentation, risk profiling, and opportunity identification through spend data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, metrics, and visualization formats.

User Roles & Access

• Define and configure user roles, permissions, and access controls
• Set up delegation, proxy, and workflow escalation rules.

Vendor Management

• Ensuring the Vendor/Consultants deliver on their deliverables (as per the SOW)
• Review of the vendor/consultants' deliverables
• Ensuring the governance for deliverables (document signoffs, etc.)

Stakeholders Management

• Communicate with project stakeholders (Clients, Vendors, etc.)
• Prepare and review communication with stakeholders.
• Follow-up with stakeholders to ensure projects activities are completed on time.

Reporting

• Ensuring the presentation materials are ready for Project meetings (Weekly PMO, Steerco, Board)
• Ensure accurate capturing of Minutes of Meetings

Reports to

• Direct report to Project Manager (s)

Requirement:

• Degree in IT/ Business Administration, or similar quantitative disciplines
• SAP Ariba certification in relevant S2P modules (Ariba P2P / Ariba Guided Buying / Ariba Spend Analysis)
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in Ariba system implementation
• Tertiary education and/or Bachelor's degree with experience in the related business/field.
• Source-to-pay process / Ariba system proficiency.
• Proficiency in business management, statistics & analytics.
• Ability to influence others and achieve common goals.
• Exceptional ability to solve problems and think analytically.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to adopt and drive changes.
• Great organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Willing to work on a contract basis.
