About the role

As a Network Engineer on our Protege Programme, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the company's network infrastructure. This is a contract position based in Kuching, Sarawak.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, implement and maintain complex network systems and protocols
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal connectivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related problems
  • Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices
  • Provide technical support and training to users as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures and technologies
  • Proficient in network troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with network security best practices and implementation
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
