Junior Consultant (Junior Executive / Executive Level) - Investment Business Technology Support

Purpose of Role

The Junior Consultant supports the alignment of investment systems with business needs by assisting in requirement clarification, data extraction, documentation, dashboard reporting, ticket management, and transition support for new processes.

The role focuses on assisting senior team members in driving adoption, solving real business challenges, and delivering long-term value through effective change management, project coordination, process optimisation, and ensuring the accuracy of departmental reporting.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Communications, or related fields.

Experience

  • Candidates who have participated in GET, GEES, Protege, MySTEP, or similar programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Fresh Graduates with interest in transformation and change management initiatives are welcome.

Added Advantages

  • Exposure to organisational change, data systems, or project coordination (internships, coursework, projects).
  • Exposure to investment management operations.
  • Familiarity with structured change management methods (ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin).
  • Experience with dashboard/reporting tools: Power BI, Qlik, Excel, SQL, Tableau.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of dashboard tools (Power BI, Qlik, Excel).
  • Interest in learning ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow) and enhancement-tracking tools.
  • Strong communication skills to assist with stakeholder engagement and transition management.
  • Willingness to document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps clearly.
  • Eagerness to support change management activities and process improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7, RM7,500.00 per month

Experience:

  • transformation and change management: 1 year (Preferred)

  • investment management operations process: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Kotter's 8-Step Model, or Lewin's Change Management Model: 1 year (Preferred)
