About the Role

The role involves conducting research, analysing and revising the development of new and existing HR Policies and Procedures based on the business and operational requirements. Prepare, monitor and analyze the manpower and HR G&A budget.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data/information from BU/SU to provide support to the development of the manpower master plan with regards to headcounts requirement to support the current and long-term business and operational requirements.
  • Assist in the development of manpower master plan to ensure the availability of competent talent at the right time with right capability.
  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of HR's SI implementation using appropriate analytical tools.
  • Identify the root cause of ineffective HR S&I and recommend corrective measures if necessary.
  • Track and analyze the Manpower and HR G&A expenses performance (actual vs budget) on a monthly and quarterly basis. Identify variances and recommend appropriate action plans if necessary.
  • Prepare and consolidate HR data for the submission to the relevant parties to conform to the statutory requirements (e.g. sustainability report, annual report, AGM Q&A, Bursa requirements, ISO/ TMSA audit, etc.).
  • Monitor, review, and update HR, Risk and sustainability scorecard performance together with the recommendation of appropriate actions to ensure the achievement of S&I and targets.
  • Support manpower and HR budget planning by preparing, consolidating, and analyzing submissions to ensure alignment with approved targets and budget provisions.
  • Conduct research and collate information related to the latest HR trends and industry best practices as an input for the development/ enhancement of staff compensation & benefits, HR Policies and Procedures, Strategies & Initiative other HR initiatives.
  • Review and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective, relevant to business needs, and aligned with best practices in areas such as performance management, recruitment, development, and compensation.

Qualifications:

  • Holds bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration/Management, Social Studies, Statistics or any other related field.

Experience Required:

  • Having a minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience in HR planning and performance reporting, driving strategic workforce analytics and business-aligned HR initiatives.
  • Skilled in creating and managing comprehensive HR dashboards and reports using tools i.e; Power BI to support data-driven decision-making and optimize talent management.
