Key Responsibilities

Import Operations Management

  • Process and track incoming shipments from origin

  • Prepare and review import documentation including air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists

  • Prepare and ensure efficient and effective customs declaration form

  • Coordinate delivery appointments and arrange final mile transportation

Billing and Financial Coordination

  • Generate accurate invoices and escalate to customers promply

  • Process billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Customer Communication and Email Correspondence

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned import customers via email, phone, and other channels

  • Provide proactive shipment updates and delivery notifications

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation, and service issues

  • Maintain professional email correspondence with international agents, consignees, and service providers

  • Escalate complex issues to management while keeping customers informed of resolution progress

  • Document all customer interactions and maintain comprehensive communication records

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service

  • Strong knowledge of airfreight procedures and documentation requirements

  • Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade compliance

  • Proficiency in logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
