Lead and manage all legal and corporate secretarial functions of the Group, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operations while safeguarding the organisation's interests, providing strategic legal guidance, and sustaining a strong governance framework.Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.Engage in meetings, discussions, and negotiations on legal and business matters, including due diligence, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, and financing activities.Collaborate with external solicitors on all legal matters concerning the organisation.Advise on a wide range of legal matters and address queries from internal stakeholders, ensuring the company's interests are effectively safeguarded.Identify, assess, and resolve legal issues arising from contracts, litigation, and other commercial matters.Develop, review, and implement robust legal guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with the organisation's business objectives.Stay updated on applicable laws and regulatory developments, providing timely advice on their potential impact to the organisation.Serve as the custodian of all legal documents and contracts, acting as the central reference for the organisation's contractual obligations.Coordinate with the external company secretary on statutory records and compliance matters of the Group.Collaborate with the external company secretary in drafting and reviewing resolutions, as well as compiling and circulating documents for the Board of Directors. RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Law and equivalent professional qualification.At least 10 years of proven experience in legal practice or as in -house counsel.Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, litigation, and conveyancing matters.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem -solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment in decision -making.
