Pig Farm Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Pig Farm Executive to join our team at GOH HONG FARMING SDN. BHD. This is a full-time role based in Pantai Remis Perak. This position involves managing daily farm activities, overseeing mating programs, and maintaining accurate records to support productivity and animal welfare. The executive will work closely with farm management to achieve breeding targets and optimise operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pig farm, including feeding, housing, and health monitoring of the animals
• Assist in planning and executing mating schedules to meet production targets
• Collect daily production and breeding-related data (e.g., mating records, farrowing rates, piglet survival)
• Accurately key in data into farm management systems for tracking and reporting
• Monitor and optimise pig breeding, farrowing, and growth performance
• Provide operational support to farm management in decision-making through accurate data reporting
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity and safety protocols
• Continuously improve farm operations and implement innovative practices to enhance efficiency and sustainability

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in agriculture, animal science, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in livestock breeding or farm operations is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of farm workers
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
