Job Summary

The Finance & Account Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting the company's financial planning activities. This role involves handling accounts receivable/payable, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and audit processes.


Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
  • Maintain full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions.
  • Prepare tax computations, SST submissions, and supporting documentation.
Financial Operations
  • Process invoices, payment vouchers, payroll entries, claims, and staff reimbursements.
  • Manage billing, collection follow-ups, and supplier payments.
  • Verify and record financial documents according to company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Audit & Compliance
  • Assist in annual audits and provide required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.
Administrative Support
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and internal departments.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the management team.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial tasks or projects when required.

Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may be considered).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
