Business Information Department Intern

Royal Selangor is looking for interns to join our Business Information Department team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience. The programme spans 3 to 6 months and is based at our headquarters in Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.

During the internship period, you will be exposed to and learn the following:

  • Provide IT support to Royal Selangor users worldwide for hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Support software, network, firewall, R-Drive, and connectivity issues, while managing antivirus, VPN setups, and licenses.
  • Set up technical requirements for new joiners, arrange meeting setups, and manage device inventory and license installations.
  • Handle vendor relationships for IT equipment procurement and coordinate periodic maintenance tasks.
  • Process IT infrastructure work orders and work closely with vendors to ensure effective project enhancements and support.

Requirements:

  • Candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or any related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to create and present clear, concise reports.
  • The candidate must possess good ethics, be detail-oriented, and have a positive work attitude.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM RM800.00 per month
