About the role

We are seeking a talented Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at Derucci Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales for our high-quality furniture and bedding products. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the thriving retail industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalised product recommendations
  2. Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, ensuring a seamless and informative shopping experience
  3. Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through effective selling techniques and a consultative approach
  4. Maintain a deep understanding of our product range, pricing, and any ongoing promotions or offers
  5. Collaborate with the wider sales team to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the store
  6. Provide excellent customer service, handling queries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  7. Assist with inventory management, product displays, and other store operations as required

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the retail or furniture industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  3. Excellent product knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
  4. Ability to work well in a team, while also demonstrating initiative and the drive to achieve individual sales targets
  5. A positive, friendly, and professional attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  6. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required
