Job Descriptions

Main Responsibilities

PROJECT COST ESTIMATE

  • Study and review the technical information and details about job execution to understand the cost element
  • Prepare and fill in the commercial proposal template for tender submission
  • Discuss and provide profitability analysis for the tender and risk involved based on internal input from operation/technical personnel
  • Prepare cost proposals for OIL & GAS OFFSHORE  Maintenance of Static equipment contract(s).
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel with detailed knowledge
  • Ensure costs from bid summary are properly translated into cost proposal worksheet as budgets. Ensure the budgets are explained to the contract holders.
  • Assist and support the Project Costing Engineer on cost estimation and cost control activities.
  • Develop detailed commercial proposals for tenders and ongoing projects taking into account the project requirements and scope of work
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure accurate quotations are received in a timely manner
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and contribute to pricing strategies by providing reliable cost data and margin analysis
  • Monitor and update cost databases with a view towards improving estimation accuracy on future contracts / proposals
  • Assist with the development of financial models, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing
  • Collaborate with the Accounting/Procurement team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Track and analyse actual vs. budgeted expenses and provide regular cost reporting to management
  • Assist the Project Costing Engineer on the monthly Project Cost Report
  • Support finance in providing the necessary documents for client invoice submissions upon work completion
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as required
  • Undertake any other job responsibilities as and when assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or any related fields with 3 years working experience in Oil & Gas Structures and or Maintenance Services
  • Basic knowledge of the oil & gas industry, especially in services to Steel Structure and Maintenance Services
  • Fundamental understanding of the concept, principle, and practice in the oil and gas rules/ regulation and conventions
  • 3 years Experience in Oil & Gas Maintenance and or Construction  with project cost control processes .
  • Detailed understanding and Competence  in Microsoft Excel for Financial Modelling
