Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance existing equipment, processes, and product designs as needed to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation for current processes and equipment in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Train engineering technicians and production personnel on new processes, equipment, and operational procedures.
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation for all new projects.
  • Create small fixtures, tooling, and support equipment to optimize production workflows.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and programs aimed at improving overall product quality.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment.
  • Support Design Engineering in prototyping and evaluating new or modified products.
  • Assist in the production and development of new products through independent reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, discrepancy resolution, and defect prevention.
  • Conduct process capability studies, design experiments, and analyze data to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Office and relational databases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Competence in presenting information clearly and responding to questions from groups.
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow clearly defined project steps.
  • Basic knowledge of new product development processes and workflows.
  • Familiarity with select product lines within the business unit.
  • Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary product development teams.
  • Foundational knowledge in a relevant technical area.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or product development.
