Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the development and operationalization of AI governance framework and related policies and procedures.
  • Assist in provision of oversight and quality assurance on AI solutions and products throughout development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to responsible AI practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in identification and assessment of potential risks and concerns arising from AI solutions and products, and development of mitigation plans to address them.
  • Assist in development of presentation materials for management reporting and internal training on AI governance matters.
  • Support preparation of responses to regulatory consultations related to AI governance matters.
  • Conduct research and monitor emerging AI governance trends, best practices and regulatory requirements to support policy development.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience in legal or compliance pertaining to AI governance, technology risk, data protection, intellectual property rights, or related function.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and regulatory frameworks impacting AI such as PDPA, MCIPD, GDPR, and EU AI Act.
  • Keen interest in AI ethics and regulations, data protection, and/or technology risk.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethics, with the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders including legal, compliance, risk, and business functions.
  • Familiarity with AI-related concepts and prior experience in financial services, digital, or fintech sectors is an advantage.
